With over 50 years of horsemanship experience, David Quick is a Level Two Coach specialising in dressage and showjumping. His training foundation was shaped under the guidance of legendary horsemen including Art Uytendaal, Nuno Oliveira, Iris Kellett, and Elanor Russell; influences that continue to inspire his thoughtful, classical approach to developing both horse and rider.
David offers tailored, results-focused coaching for riders and horses of all levels. Working closely with showjumping and dressage clubs, pony clubs, and adult riding groups, his sessions are known for their practical insights, clear communication, and supportive environment that encourages confidence and progress.
With a deep understanding of the relationship between horse and rider, David helps each partnership refine technique, strengthen connection, and achieve lasting results across disciplines and experience levels.
Based in Murchison, Victoria, David regularly travels interstate, bringing his trusted training methods and wealth of knowledge to equestrian communities across Australia.

In addition to his regular one-on-one coaching, David Quick offers one- and two-day clinics that provide intensive, hands-on training in dressage and showjumping. These clinics are ideal for riders and horses seeking focused development — whether building solid foundations or advancing toward higher-level competition.
For those wanting a more immersive experience, David also conducts extended or tailored clinics, designed around specific disciplines, goals, or rider needs. Each clinic is thoughtfully structured to ensure meaningful progress in a supportive, practical, and professional environment.
Whether you’re part of a club, organising a group, or seeking individual instruction, David’s clinics can be arranged locally or interstate to suit your schedule and objectives.
